A Little About Miami's Hockey School
We
take our responsibility for caring and teaching young hockey players very
seriously. That's probably why we are one of the leaders in the hockey
school industry. We work all year to put together the best school possible...
and we work even harder making it happen each summer. It's amazing that
since we humbly began 31 years ago with 32 participants, we have taught
over 23,000 players and will host nearly 900 this summer.
Players and their parents travel an average of 4 hours to our campus. Last summer students from 24 states and one province attended our school. All this without national advertising... yet our reputation has become National by word of mouth. We spend our money on providing a better school, not on advertising. Checkout what we have to offer below! The reason folks are willing to travel this distance is simple: a quality dedicated full time staff providing the best, most efficient and creative teaching techniques within a very disciplined, enthusiastic "fun" SAFE atmosphere at an extremely reasonable cost. Miami's Varsity Division I coaches are the integral core of the staff. Overall, our program is in demand and people want to be here because we have earned their respect! Please do not delay in enrolling, the program fills very quickly. Applicants are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Our Philosophy
Our camp is fun AND productive
Hockey is what brings you to Miami. We will provide you the finest in progressive hockey instruction within a total, disciplined hockey atmosphere. All activities are directed toward the student's development as a hockey player and as an individual. That development is determined by the attitude and effort put forth by the student. Each of the four programs are different, yet they build upon on another to help improve and "challenge" returning students. Be prepared, the program is strenuous and is not recommended for those with excessive medical problems, those who do not like structure, or those who do not want to work hard! In addition, we have great fun.
The Very Best Staffing and Supervision
When parents send their young hockey player away from home, those parents are naturally apprehensive. Dont's worry, you can count on us! Our "alumni" regularly compliment us on our excellent on and off ice staffs, along with our high levels of supervision. Our return ratio is over 50%. The players are having a fantastic time. Parents are definitely happy! The school is divided into groups or teams organized by age, experience, and/or ability. Each group will be supervised by three Leadership counselors and taught by two coaches. This staff, along with two dormitory supervisors, a full-time trainer, and live-in coaches, are coordinated by the Directors to ensure the best organized, supervised, hockey experience for all.
